About

I am an accredited addiction counsellor working with adults affected by alcohol, drug and behavioural dependencies — and with families navigating a loved one's recovery. My approach is client-led and grounded in motivational interviewing and relapse-prevention work.

Diarmuid has practised in community-based and private settings for over 12 years, and relocated in 2026. The practice now operates primarily by telehealth, serving clients nationwide including Cork city and county.

Sessions

Sessions run 50 minutes. Evening slots available. Telehealth clients receive a private video link on confirmation. A brief telephone call precedes first appointments so we can establish whether the service fits your needs.
